ACU Homecoming

Were able to go to ACU Homecoming back in mid-October. We had a great time. Some of the pictures are better than others.

Our good friends the Lippincotts and Wardens from Cypress came as well. We met up at the carnival.

Kaylinn was thrilled to hold a baby chick and was surprisingly gentle.

John David needed a little more tender care in holding his chick.

Not sure if we are at a KISS concert or showing our wildcat spirit.

John David's not a fan of Willie the Wildcat.
My mom, sister, and I at Kojie breakfast...for those non-ACU, Kojies was the social club I was involved with and my sister is vp this year.
My little sister is not so little any more. She was in Jr. High School when I was at ACU. As vp she was in charge of the entire breakfast and did an awesome job!
Amy Lippincott and I at breakfast.
After breakfast there is always a parade. We were a little late and this is why...
The whole fam.

My sister and one of her roommates, Carly.

Lissie and soon-to-be Uncle Trey.

Look who we ran into, cousin Hudson!

Later on Saturday there was a alumni KJK vs. Siggie flag football game. It was SO much fun! With lots of help from my good friend Rachelanne, I made these shirts for the girls. On the backs was the year they would pledge Kojies. Lissie's pledge class...2028!

Go KJK...can that bow be any bigger???

Girlfriends!

I was fortunate enough to get to play with Amy.

Our team...Meg didn't play but will get to next year!

Tuley Children

My good friend and photographer, Tiffany Fetter, took these pictures of the kids recently. The purpose of these pictures was to get Lissie's 3mos. and John David's 2 yr., and try to get one of all 3, which is why there aren't a whole lot of Kaylinn...she'll get her 4 yr. pics. taken soon. These are just a few.

First Day of School

The kids had their first day of school the beginning of September, and they are both loving it! Both Kaylinn and John David are blessed to have such wonderful and loving teachers, and I am blessed to have no tears and a few hours with just one child.

Big boy...his backpack is as big as he is!

Kaylinn was super excited to wear a headband.

Sibling love!!!

Lissie's excited to spend some time as an only child.

Kaylinn's Prayer

Kaylinn prayed over our meal last night, and it went a little something like this, "Dear God, thank you for everything. Thank you for this food that I do not like, but I will try a bite because I have to. If I don't like it, it's okay, but I just have to try it. Thank you for Jesus. Precious name we pray, Amen." It took all David and had to not bust out laughing.

Also, John David's been saying "Cheeto" when he is mad at someone; almost as though he's calling someone a bad name. I was watching he and Kaylinn go back and forth over a shovel outside...the "argument" ended when he looked at her mean and said "CHEETO!" like it was the worst thing he could call her...guess we won't be giving him that nickname!

Cheeto

John David is not a big talker so I've been trying to get him to say people's names as well as his own. He's always called Kaylinn "KK," which we all do. He's started calling Lissie "Hi-see." He calls his teacher Mrs. Rhodes, "Whodes." Then I asked John David what his name was and without hesitation replied "Cheeto"....so now I have a nickname for him! He laughs every time I call him by his new name.

End of Summer Days

Our summer has come to an end. We actually managed to get out a few times. And here are just a few things we did...

Ate chocolate and picked our noses.

Played dress up with our great friend Barrett.

Got strange injuries.

Ate pink snow cones and laughed and laughed.

Stayed wrapped up in our Moby wrap...the only way I can go anywhere w/ all 3.

Played with our girlfriends.

Bowled with our feet.

Drew on the house.

Ate dirt.

Caught some zzzzzzzzzzzzz's.

Colored the flagstone.

Played at the splash pad.

Went to the zoo.

Got into the sunscreen on our own

Filled the pool up with bubbles
